He is survived by: his wife Billie Jean Carson Spruill; his children, Nannette Spruill McKeel (Wayne), Mac Spruill (Barbara) and Neal Spruil (Suzanna); his grandchildren, Eddie, Chrystal McKeel, Misty, Vince Renfrow, Kenny, Vanesa Spruill, Michael, Robin McKeel, Derek and Sarah Spruill; and his sisters, Nellie "Tiny" Powell, Lillie Ipock (Richard), Celia Whitford (Dalton) and Mandy Gaskins.
