It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Weatherington Hardee of Vanceboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Larry Hardee, Sr.; her parents, Vernon Weatherington and Grace Weatherington; and her brother Jimmy Weatherington. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Hardee Ezzell (Alfred) of Pactolus and Donald Larry Hardee, Jr. (Joy) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Alex Ezzell (Mariah) of Winterville and Rebecca Bryson (Justan) of Ayden; and her siblings, Bryan Weatherington (Phyllis) of Pactolus and Judy Lilley (Ray) of Washington.
