She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Warren Ackiss; and her siblings, David Lee Fillingame, Marie Fillingame Whitford, Sybil Fillingame Hardee, Loyce Fillingame Lancaster, Irene Fillingame Morris and Joyce Fillingame Gaskins.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Christine Ackiss Watson (Tim), Warren Ackiss (Sharon) and Teresa Ackiss Mims (Kevin); her grandchildren, David Herring, Jonathan Herring, Jason Ackiss (Julie) and Melanie Ackiss Caroon (Josh); and her stepgrandchildren, Jamie Watson (Lisa), Tara Watson Fones (Bobby), Danielle Rose and Brandon Jones (Michelle). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
