He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Toler and Nannie Ipock Toler; his wife Mary Edna Rowe of Blounts Creek; his brother Bill Toler Jr.; his sons, George Micheal Toler and Raymond McLean Toler; his daughter-in-law Georgette Toler; his granddaughters, Sherry Norris and Maria Garcia; his great great grandchild Everette Wayne Pegram; and his parents-in-law, Shady and Martha Rowe.
He is survived by: his sons, Luther Wayne Toler (Cathy) of Caton, William Shadie of Caton and James Henry "Jimmy" Toler (Pam) of Greenville; his daughter-in-law Deborah Toler of New Bern; his sister Margaret Ann Jewell of Blounts Creek; and his sister-in-law Julie Toler. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
