He is survived by: his sons, Tommy Jones (Donna) and Hoppy Jones, Jr.; his grandchildren, Kendall Jones (Caitlyn), Jennifer Barrow (Johnny), Jonathan Jones (Stephanie), Matthew Jones, Abigail Weaver (Jason), Christi Blankenship (Joseph), Jason McIllwain and Hannah Mathison; his great grandchildren, Julie (Mikey), Johnny (Bella), Hunter, Gunner, Wesson and Lane; and his great great grandchild Airia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home - Vanceboro (608 Farmlife Ave, Vanceboro, NC 28586). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Juniper Chapel FWB Church (655 Piney Neck Rd, Vanceboro, NC 28586).
