He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Delano and Ruth Whitford Stokes; his brother Robin Stokes; his niece Helen Stokes; and his uncles, Wayne Stokes and Z. O. Whitford (Mildred).
He is survived by: his sisters, Cathy S. Wilkerson (Robert) and Karen S. Hardee (Leon R. Hardee, Jr.); his sister-in-law Kim Adams Stokes; his nieces and nephews, Robbie Stokes (Kim), Matt Wilkerson (Ashley), Hunter Hardee (Holly), Taylor Hardee and Tanner Hardee; and his aunt Linda Stokes.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pinewood Memorial Park (4150 E 10th St, Greenville, NC 27858).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Black Jack OFWB Church, 2972 Black Jack – Simpson Road, Greenville, NC 27858.
