He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Wilson, Sr. and Letha Morris Wilson; and his sisters, Lucille Gunter and Elizabeth Downing. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Mitchell Wilson of Vanceboro; his daughters, Cathy W. Smith, Ayden, Connie W. Lancaster (Michael Gray) of Vanceboro, Denise Wilson (Bert Stallings) of New Bern and Lisa Shaver (David) of Missouri; his grandchildren, Gwen Carter (Brandon), Chelsea L. Russ (Kenneth), Kelly Gaskins, Charles Bailey and Ashley Bailey; his great grandchild Jackson Carter; and his sister Frances Watson.
