He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Edward and Corrie Lee Shearon. He is survived by: his brothers, Edward Shearon (Pat) of Kemp, Frank Shearon (Theresa) of Zellwood and Mitchael Shearon of Sumter, SC.; his children, Gigi Shearon of Edenton, NC, Dede Keckeis (Steve) of Belmont, NC, Chad Shearon (Virginia) of Greenville, NC, Rod Shearon of Mt Pleasant, SC and Trey Matthews (Chelsea) of Bryant; and his stepson Preston Morris of Vanceboro, NC. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
