He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Peggy Daniels (Ervin) of Aurora and Troy Whitehurst (Andrea) of Lakeland, Florida; his grandchildren, Megan Carpenter, Jonathan Bland and Eva Whitehurst; his stepson Kevin Moye (Tonya) of Dare County; his stepgrandchildren, Grayson and Landry Moye; his sister Cynthia Jarman (Chester) of Morganton, NC; his nephew Brad Jarman; and his niece Kelly Bruce.
