She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Walter Taylor; her parents, Rev. J. D. Vernelson and Lillian Vernelson; her brothers, John and Joe Vernelson; and her brother-in-law Billy Mizell.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Taylor and Timothy Taylor (Lisa); her grandchildren, Cameron, Carter, Colton and Abigail; her siblings, Ann James (Douglas), Linda Mizell, Hilton Vernelson (Shirley) and Wayne Vernelson (Sherry); and her sisters-in-law, Ann Vernelson and Ellen Vernelson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
