He is survived by: his wife Colleen Purcott Young; his daughter Amber Young Wigent; his son-in-law Cass Wigent; his granddaughter Pearl Wigent; his brother Scott Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Purcott and Robert Purcott.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
