He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Locklear and Ertha Locklear; and his brothers, Joe Brant Locklear of Maxton and Dolan Locklear. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Locklear; his children, Timothy Locklear of Maxton, Vickie Jacobs (Perry) of Maxton, Teresa Locklear (Kinston) of Maxton, Brittany Locklear of Greenville and Cheyenne Locklear of Vanceboro; his daughter-in-law Carol Lewis of Vanceboro; his siblings, Ronnie Locklear of Vanceboro, Charles Locklear (Judy) of Ernul and Carolyn Fulmer of New Bern; and his grandchildren, Josh, Chrislain, Oryan, Twyannia of Brooke, T. J., Summer, Jase, Zayden, Alaskha, Killian, Journee and Ja'lyah. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, loving nieces and nephews.
