She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Hardee and Christine Hardee; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Hudson, Archie Smith, Harvey Lee Harris and Jo Ann Smith Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Lester "Dick" Smith; her sons, Randall Smith (Dawn Hommey) of Ayden and Scott Smith (Georgette) of Winterville; her granddaughters, Jacqueline Smith, Shauni Smith of Greenville and Chelsea Smith of Chocowinity; her siblings, Judy Hudson, Ray Hardee (Carol Ann) and Grover Jed Hardee (Lisa); and her sister-in-law Cynthia Smith (Ronald). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and other extended family.
