It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Fear Carraway of Vanceboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Carraway and Esther Carraway; and his siblings, Bobby, B. F. Carraway and Irene Carraway.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bundy Carraway; his children, Willie Brooks Carraway (Belinda) of Palmetto, FL, Jimmy "Darrell" Dunn (Lisa) of Vanceboro, Cindy Leigh Doe (Mike) of Boston, MA, Deltra Sharon Kidd (David) of Elizabethtown, Mary Ellen Barker of Morehead City and Alesia "Lisa" Warren of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Randall, Gavin, Ken, Will, Joey, Jennifer, Charity, Hope, Jeremy, Patrick, Tanner, Jamison, Baleigh and Avery. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
