With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Massey Cannon of Vanceboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James M. Cannon. She is survived by: her brother Carl Massey of Farmville; her in-laws, Sam, Lou Tina Cannon, Faye, Larry Cline, Edna, Jim Tolliver, Rebecca Seymour, Hazel, Eugene Clayborne and Lois Cannon; and her close friends, Robert, Marie Herring, Steve, Renae Dail Bowen and Joyce McGalliard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
