He is survived by: his wife Linda Currie Chesson; his daughter Jessica Lundberg of New Bern, NC; his son-in-law Steve Lundberg of New Bern, NC; his grandchildren, Stephen Lundberg and Anna Lundberg; and his sister Meredith Smith of Burgaw, NC..
