She was predeceased by: her siblings, Pauline Locust and Edward Locust; and her daughters-in-law, Linda Locust and Janet Adams. She is survived by: her son Maria S. Adams of Ayden, NC; her grandchildren, Thomas Locust (Annette) of Greenville, NC and Spencer Adams (Shay) of Fayetteville, NC; her great grandchildren, LaShonda Newborn of Kinston, NC, Krystal Jordan of St. Roberts, MO, Destiny Adams of Walstonburg, NC, Alexis Adams Wallace (Michael) of El Paso, TX and Tami Locust of Greenville, NC; and her godchild David King of Greenville, NC.
