She is survived by: her son James Rodney Whitley, Jr. (Rod); her grandsons, James Rodney Whitley, III (Jamie) and Jesse Oliver Whitley of Smithfield, NC; her brother Jeff Windom; her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Windom and Noel Whitley (Kathy) of Greenville; her nieces and nephews, Erin Windom Skinner, Morgan Windom, Mary Beth Whitley Kearney, Amber DeBruno (Ritchie) and Heather Whitley; and her great-niece Addie Kearney.
