It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Albert Rhoney of Vale, North Carolina, who passed away on August 19, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Arthur Rhoney and Annie Lee Brittian; and his wife Lillian LaDell Warlick Rhoney. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Jean Jenks (Bobby) of Vale, Virgil Dean Rhoney (Kathie) of Vale and Dennis A. Rhoney (Patsy) of Hickory; and his sisters, Kathleen Shull and Marie Dedmon of Vale. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren.
