He was predeceased by: his parents, Steadly R. Ruff and Ruth Harstin Ruff; his wife Betty Ann Ruff; and his sister Karen Roberts. He is survived by: his son Jaime E. Ruff (Starla) of Vale; his siblings, Eugene Ruff of Holden Beach, NC and Ruth Love of Lincolnton, NC; his granddaughters, Heather M. Barr and Katie M. Keisler; his great grandchildren, Addison Keisler and Ellie Keisler; and his close friend Doris Poston.
