He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Lee Davis and Gertie Reep Davis; his daughter Terri Ruppe; and his siblings, Wilford, Aaron, Jones, Avid, Glenn Davis, Alma Motz, Lois Hastings and Shirley Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Artie Cook Davis; his children, Michael Davis (Pamela) of Vale, Elaine Buff (Jerry) of Vale and Scottie Matthews (Kenneth) of Vale; and his grandchildren, Brandi Leatherman (Randy), Brent Davis, Misty Johnson (Dwight), Tiffany Matthews, Chad Matthews, Lanny Bivens (Lynn), Chasta Buff, Chris Buff (Lisa) and Shawn Buff. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
