It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Coolidge Alexander of Vale, North Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elam Alexander and Bessie Wilson Alexander; his son-in-law Charles Lane; and his great grandchild Maddie Green. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Kiziah Alexander; his daughters, Marlane Laney (Mike) of Vale and Judy Lane of Hickory; his grandchildren, Meredith Dickerson (Brad), Nathan Lane, Maria Laney and Tara Cale (Shawn); his great grandchildren, Keith, Cole, Tyson and Matthew; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Kiziah and Cecil Kiziah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
