She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Taft Huss and Jeanette Effie Garner Huss; her former husband James B. Blackburn; her husband Edwin Wright; her great grandchild Brooklyn Cockerline; and her sister Brenda Dellinger.
She is survived by: her daughter Tonya Carpenter (Keith) of Lincolnton; her stepchildren, Terry Wright (Jane) of Vale, Ricki Barkley (Ruben) of Vale and Cheryl Wright (Alice) of Cary; her grandchildren, Billy Carpenter (Callie), Joshua Carpenter (Lyndsay), Alicia Cockerline (Jason), Kimberly Davis (Darren), Seth Barkley (Kathleen), Dustin Wright (Alison), Jessica Hilderbran (Ken) and Haley Wright; her great grandchildren, Logan Carpenter (Carson), Caleb Carpenter, Colton Carpenter, Nathan Cockerline, Benjamin Davis, Jonathan Morgan, Addison Wright, Gabrielle Wright, Jace Hilderbran, Sarah Wright, Rachel Hilderbran, Jedidiah Barkley, Ezekiel Barkley and Isaiah Barkley; her brother-in-law Wyatt Dellinger of Shelby; her niece Diane Parkhurst (Steve); her great-nephews, Spencer and Alex; and her nephew Nelson Dellinger (Jamie).
