She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Everette Hefner, Sr. and Leona Barnette Hefner; her brother Ralph E. Hefner, Jr.; and her niece Erika Hefner. She is survived by: her husband Donald Howard Houser; her children, Danny Houser (Amanda) of Vale, Deborah Houser Heavner (Tommy Shane) of Vale and Marci Houser Turner (Bret Turner) of Cherryville; her grandchildren, Tyler Heavner, Sierra Heavner, Landrum Turner and Michael Turner; her brother Gerald Hefner (Debra) of Kannapolis; and her sister-in-law Carol Hefner of Hickory.
