He is survived by: his grandparents, James Lester Deal and Vama Deal; his daughter Chastity Hope Deal of Vale, NC; his grandchildren, Justin Waters (Kassidy), Jaren Waters and Carson Shane Deal; and his sister Carolyn Hogan (Lee) of Gastonia. He is also survived by father and grandfather.
