He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Hefner (Lana) of Lincolnton and Lisa Poarch (Travis); his brother Preston Hefner; his nephew Dalton Hefner of Lincolnton; his sister Alice Cole; his niece Dawn Harris of Florida; and his grandsons, Malachi Poarch, Braydon Poarch and Joseph Hefner.
