It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Boyles Burton of Vale, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Boyles and Pearl Houser Boyles; and her husband Billy Burton. She is survived by: her daughter Ann Burton Heafner (Walt) of Lincolnton; her siblings, Doris Boyles Bobbitt, Peggy Boyles Bumgarner and George Dewey "Bud" Boyles, Jr.; her grandchildren, Brooke Heafner and Jay Heafner (Krista); and her great grandchildren, Jacob Heafner, Reese Heafner and Conner Heafner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
