He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Leroy Hamrick and Anna Agnes Watts; and his brothers, Fred Hamrick and Clyde Hemrick. He is survived by: his children, Edward Lee Hamrick, Chris Hamrick, Shane Hamrick and Shanaree Harmick; his sisters, Mary Kell and Betty Hager (Bob); and his close friend Jerry Bolick. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 E Main St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at the Free Holiness Church of Vale (6119 Second Chance Ln, Vale, NC 28168).
