Dorothy Sain Leatherman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Sain Leatherman (Vale, North Carolina), who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank McCoy Sain and Fannie Cleo Pruett Sain. She is survived by: her siblings, Colon Sain of Vale, Bobby Sain of Hickory and Joann Wise of Vale; her husband Charlie Fletcher Leatherman, Sr.; and her siblings, Paul, Harold, Hugh, Ralph, Horace, Jimmie, Melvin, Warren, Kenneth Sain and Gladys Hull. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Reeps Grove United Methodist Church (7401 Reeps Grove Church Rd, Vale, NC 28168). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
