With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Eugene Freeman of Vale, North Carolina, who passed away on October 2, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Junior Freeman and Willie Mae Hill Stroupe; and his brother Baby Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Janice Ballard Freeman; his children, Tommy Freeman (Jodie) of Vale, Sheila Ward (Mark) of Indian Trail and Amy Lunceford (Allen) of Boiling Springs; his brothers, Scott Freeman of Virginia and Eddie Freeman of Virginia; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Morgan (Fabian), Kyle Davis (Madison), Alyssa Gordon (Jeff), Zachary Davis (Amber), Roger Matheson (Hannah), Sean Matheson (Breanna), Matthew Ward (Abigail), Nathan Matheson (Amy) and Elam Freeman; his great grandchildren, Lainey, Evalette, Sawyer, Forrest, Tyson and Declan; and his pet Sofie.
