He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock William Bivens and Annie Mae Fulbright Bivens; his wife Annie Hoyle Bivens; his son-in-law Larry Cook; and his siblings, James, Everette, Carmie, Walter, William, Paul, Carl Bivens, Effie Hamilton and Vertie Mae Bivens.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Cook of Vale and Rick Bivens (Cynthia) of Blackburn; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Bivens (Kristie), Jennifer Bivens, Chrystal Price (Derek) and Steven Cook; and his brother Gary Bivens of Connelly Springs. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
