He was predeceased by: his parent Carl Monroe Brittain; his wife Joyce Scronce Brittain; and his brother Darrell Brittain. He is survived by: his parent Clara Belle Rhoney Brittain; his daughters, Denise Brittain Rudisill (Billy) of Vale and Sandra Renae Brittain of Vale; his siblings, Harold Donald Brittain (Judy) of Hickory and Colleen Brittain Warlick of Hickory; his sister-in-law Ann Brittain of Newton; his grandchildren, Jason Rudisill (Cameron) of Lancaster, SC, Allen Rudisill (Katie) of Vale and Shane Rudisill (Sarah) of Newton; and his great grandchildren, Aidan Rudisill, Ava Rudisill, Alexis Rudisill of Vale, Maddie Rudisill and Emily Rudisill.
