He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Yates Reep and Jessie Mae Dellinger Reep; his wife Janet Lee Avery Reep; his daughter Brandy Michelle Reep Stewart; and his brothers, Larry Reep and Donald Reep.

He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Lee Higgins Waldrop (Michael) of Lawndale; his grandchildren, Jonathan Scott Saine (Heather) of Granite Falls, Jenna Nicohl Nipper and Robert Wesley Stewart; his great grandchildren, Emma Saine, Ashlyn Saine, Rowan Saine and Caidyn Rae Nipper; his nephews, Wayne Reep and Dale Reep; his niece Lisa Reep; and also Scott Saine.
