She was predeceased by: her parents, Chevious "Chip" Frances Hughes and Maybelle Bolick Hughes; and her brothers, Thomas Dean Hughes, Kelly Hughes, Bruce Hughes and Randy Hughes.
She is survived by: her son Liam Canipe of Conover; and her siblings, Connie Parker of Vale, Rebecca Craig of Connelly Springs, Brittney Whitesides of Vale and B. J. Craig of Vale. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090, USA 28042). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090, USA 28042). A burial will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the North Brook Baptist Church Cemetery (7421 Flay Rd, Cherryville, NC 28021).
