It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Leonard Lindsey (Valdese, North Carolina), who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lindsey and Beulah Lindsey; his wife Peggy Howard Lindsey; his siblings, Eddie, James Lindsey and Marilyn Maney; and his sons, Rev. Freddy Lindsey (Tammy) of Connelly Springs, Stanley Lindsey (Lori) of Newton and Ricky Lindsey.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Chelsey Phillips (Luke) of Hayesville, Jacob Lindsey (Natasha) of Hickory, Brittany WIlson (Nathan) of Rhodhiss, Matthew Lindsey (Megan) of Winston-Salem and Amber Speagle (Stephen) of Connelly Springs; his great grandchildren, Callan, Blake Phillips, Scarlett Lindsey, Jordan, Gage Tolliver, Raelyn, Reid, Lane Wilson, Elliana and Addalee Speagle; and his siblings, George T. Lindsey, Ethel Berry and Shirley Smawley.
