It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilburn Brown of Valdese, North Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Brantly Brown and Elsie Brown; his former wife Helen Jones Brown; his wife Gearline Hall Brown; and his siblings, Burlin Brown, Ella Mae Myers, Imelda McDade, Odena Annas and Jerry Brown.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary "Sissy" Helton of Granite Falls; his grandchildren, Sarah and Sandy; his nieces, Debbie Crump and Shelia Whisnant; his sister Mary Sue Bumgarner (Gene); and his sister-in-law Marlene Brown (Jerry). He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care at 1721 Enon Rd. Valdese, NC 28690.
