He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Cooper and Pauline Cooper; his sister Sherlene Cooper Dancy; his brother-in-law Harvey Dancy; and his nephews, Kenneth Cooper and Timothy McNeely (Louise Brown Cooper).
He is survived by: his daughter Lee Ann Gragg (Jerry) of Lenoir; his brother Leon Cooper (Eileen) of Willis, TX; his grandchildren, Clint McNeely (Amber), Melanie McNeely, Tyler Gragg (Kayla), Josh Gragg (Jessica) and Jessica Laws; and his great grandchildren, Aria, Khaleesi, Arya, Taylor, Dax, Ava, Ivy, Kurigan and Elijah.
