He is survived by: his wife Helen Shelton Edwards; his daughter April Edwards; his granddaughters, Natalie Jimison and Kayla Hicks; and his siblings, Flora Carpenter (Harry), Cathy Coleman (Evertte), Buck Edwards and Carl Edwards. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
