He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fred, Jewell Matthews, Alvin and Ruth Prince; his aunt Marcine Prince Campbell; and his uncle Bobby Matthews.
He is survived by: his parents, Leighton Prince and Judy Matthews Prince Tyler; his wife Natisha Nelson Prince; his children, Natalie Leann Prince and Benjamin Tyler Prince; his brother Scott Prince; his aunts and uncles, Avis Prince Matthews, Pattie, Dennis Wolford and Bob Campbell; and his parents-in-law, James Nelson Jr. and Freda Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for the Children's Education Fund at 1507 Main St. E., Valdese, NC 28690.
