With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sally Burns Heavner of Valdese, North Carolina, who passed away on August 6, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dolph Burns and Lela Lail Burns; and her husband Herman Heavner. She is survived by: her children, Roger Heavner of Valdese and Sharon Beane of Rutherford College; and her grandchildren, Dr. Brett Heavner (Krista) of Denver, Brooke Heavner (Jennifer) of Valdese and Allison Walsh (Christopher) of Holly Springs. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
