She was predeceased by: her husband James Henry Piercy; her son Roger L. Piercy; her great grandchild Preston James Craven; her siblings, L. C. Burns, Jimmy Burns, Lovey Burns, Teleta Cole, Eula Carswell, Nelda Pruitt and Alice Allman; and her sister-in-law Vertie Lee Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Allen Piercy (Linda), Bruce D. Piercy (Kathy), Robin Singleton of Valdese and Patti Connelly (Bert) of Valdese; her daughter-in-law Gereau Piercy of Drexel; her sisters, Elizabeth Arney, Delene Powell and JoAnne Delong; and her grandchildren, Jason, Melinda, Teressia, Neil, Shane, Kerri, Raven, Alex and Niki. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
