He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ernest Waters and Annie Bowman Waters; his wife Greta Clark Waters; and his brothers, Max Waters and J. B. Waters.
He is survived by: his children, Julia Waters Sims (Jeff) and Chip Waters (Terri); and his grandsons, Travis Sims, Brett Sims-Mikesell (Kyle) and Joey Waters. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
