It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Amos Lingerfelt (Valdese, North Carolina), who passed away on February 12, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lingerfelt and Lily Speagle Lingerfelt; his brothers, Bill Lingerfelt and Paul Lingerfelt; and his half-siblings, June Shuford, Mary Young, Ruth Aiken, Bobbie Liptrap (Sadie), George Lingerfelt (GH) and Zinn Lingerfelt (ZT).
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Young Lingerfelt; his children, Toni Turner (Tracy) of Connelly Springs and Bruce Lingerfelt (Lisa) of Connelly Springs; his grandchildren, Charli Toney (Chris) of Morganton, Dakota Williams (Josh) of Connelly Springs, Mindy Patton (Ben) of Marion, Lacy Williams (Adam) of Buena Vista and Brett Lingerfelt of Connelly Springs; and his great grandchildren, Ryleigh Toney, Landon Toney, Jade Williams, Jake Patton, Truett Patton, Abel Williams, Asher Williams, Adah Williams, Ammiel Williams and Amos Williams.
