It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Heavner Wright of Valdese, North Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Heavner and Joyce Icard Heavner; and her sister Maxine Howell. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Wright; and her children, Irene Sutherland (John), Regina Butler, Leonard Wright Jr. (Shena Carswell) and Debra Fox (Nick). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
