It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Baker Maye (Valdese, North Carolina), who passed away on February 3, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Baker and Bertie Church Baker; her husband Donald Maye; and her son Brett Stamey. She is survived by: her grandsons, Jonathan Burger (Renee) and Michael Stamey; and her great grandchildren, Caroline Burger, Star Driggers and Kaylah Driggers.
