She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hunter and Flossie Bradford Hunter; her husband James Holt; her grandson Thomas Leonard "Lynn" Black III; and her siblings, Claude Hunter Jr., Carl Hunter and Pansy Hensley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Wilson (Dean) of Morganton and Robin Holt of Burnsville; and her siblings, Clarence Hunter of Hampton, VA, Jessie Robinson of Burnsville and Bessie Buchanan of Burnsville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
