He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Lawrence Harris, Sr. and Phyllis Edwards Harris; and his siblings, Edgar Lawrence Harris, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Harris. He is survived by: his wife Earlene Shook Harris of Valdese; his children, Calvin Harris (Dorinda) of Dudley Shoals, Allen Harris (Donna) of Dearing, GA, Mary McDaris (Mickey) of Granite Falls, Jeffrey Harris (Angela) of Marion and Robin Harris (Heather) of Valdese; his grandchildren, Wesley Harris, Danny Harris (Brooke), Dustin Harris (Lindsay), Gina Croce (Edward), Luke McDaris, Casey McDaris, Brandon Hedrick, Remy Harris Zachary Reid, Blaine Reid (Tiffany), Courtney McKinney (Paul) and Darrell McDaris; and his siblings, Patricia Harrell of Ahoskie, John Allen Harris of Newton, Monica Jean Adams of Ahoskie and Ralph Wayne Harris (Donna) of Newton. He is also survived by twenty seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
