She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Bivens and Lula Bivens; her husband Richard Hendrix; her daughter Cindy Woods; and her grandsons, Josh and Ricky.

She is survived by: her children, Sherry Padgett (Greg), Joy Herman (Alan), George Carswell and Tammy Hamrick (Freddie); her siblings, Kay Lackey, Betty Whisnant and Roger Bivens; and her grandchildren, Lee, Phillip, April, Greg, Jason and BJ. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
