It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Lucille Cooper Hollifield (Valdese, North Carolina), who passed away on January 2, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clay Hollifield Jr.; and her siblings, Ironee Beach, Edena George, Nell Lippard, Milton Cooper, Nathan Cooper, Tom Cooper, Hal Cooper and Kay Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Clay Benjamin Hollifield III (Sidney), Jill Lowman (Grant, Nannette Morris) and Beth Scruggs (Jim); her grandchildren, Nathan Lowman (Holly, Caroline Howard), Clay Benjamin Hollifield IV, Kathryn Morris, Whitney Stewart (Matt) and Erin Scruggs; and her great grandchildren, Ella Howard, Haven Stewart, Sage Stewart, Ian Stewart and Sawyer Lowman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
