We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2019, at the age of 63, Larry Kent Young (Valdese, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Calvin Young and Christine Propst Young; and his sister Debbie Willis. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Young; his children, Brian Young (Olivia) of Granite Falls, Cheri Bennett of Connelly Springs, Brandon Byrd of Hickory and Eric Byrd of Virginia Beach, VA; and his siblings, Tim Young (Jean) of Hickory, Benny Young (Fabiola Grappin) of York, SC, Janet Hardin (Neal) of Morganton, Ronnie Young (Kim) of Vale and Teddy Young (Barbara) of Vale. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; one great grandson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care at 1721 Enon Rd. Valdese, NC 28690.
